In a dominant performance, Martinsburg (7-2) secured its seventh consecutive victory with a 42-0 shutout over Spring Mills, a rematch of the first Class AAAA state championship game. The Bulldogs controlled all three phases, scoring in every quarter with five different players finding the end zone. The offense established a 28-0 halftime lead behind touchdown runs from Boston Todd, Kingston McDonald-Gibson, and two scores from Terrell Cofield. The defense was equally stifling, allowing just two first downs before intermission. Quarterback Brian Dick, who accounted for 136 passing yards and 68 rushing yards, added a rushing touchdown in the third quarter, and the scoring was finalized in the fourth when Michael Dillard recovered a blocked punt in the end zone. Head coach Dave Walker praised his team's "attitude and effort" and their significant improvement since an 0-2 start, noting the team has "learned how to practice" and developed a balanced offensive identity, having now outscored their last seven opponents 381-45.
