Keyser's Golden Tornado (KHS) secured a dominant 55-21 victory over Moorefield (MHS), improving their record to 6-2 and all but guaranteeing their first Class AAA playoff berth in five seasons. The win was fueled by a balanced offensive attack that saw six different players score. After trading touchdowns in the first quarter, Keyser exploded for 27 unanswered points to build a 34-7 halftime lead. Standout performances included Grayson Lambka, who scored three ways (a 12-yard run, a 95-yard kickoff return, and a 5-yard reception), and quarterback Addison Brafford, who threw for three touchdowns and ran for another. Owen Rotruck, Cole Holland, Dominik Crawford, and Lucas Williamson also added touchdowns for Keyser. Head coach Derek Stephen praised his offense as a "four or five-headed monster" and noted that the quick turnaround from a loss just five days prior was a "blessing in disguise" that helped the team refocus. For Moorefield (1-7), Matthew Iman had two rushing touchdowns, and Shawn Reed added a 51-yard touchdown run.
