Highlights from Gilmer County’s 6-2 win over Buffalo in the Little Kanawha Conference Tournament third place game at Doddridge County High School.
Kolten Holbert delivered the biggest swing of the day with a three-run home run in the third inning, giving the Titans control early. Gilmer County added insurance runs in the fifth inning with a two-run single from Dallas Goodrich and an RBI single from Lexington Grogg.
Roddick Page set the tone on the mound with four strikeouts over four innings, while Remington Huffman closed things out with three scoreless innings of relief.
Buffalo’s offense came from Evan Panero and Kylar Boggess, who each drove in runs in the third inning.
Gilmer County improves to 21-4 with the win.
