Paige Shy's record-breaking eight 3-pointers propelled Saint Joseph Central to a 71-46 victory over Parkersburg Catholic in the Class A state championship game. Shy scored 28 points, setting a state tournament record for 3-pointers, as the Irish secured their ninth Class A title in 11 seasons. Despite an early lead from Parkersburg Catholic, Saint Joseph dominated the remainder of the game, showcasing strong perimeter shooting and effective defense. Imani Hickman's early contributions and the Irish's bench depth played a crucial role in their success. Dena Jarrells and Hannah Roberts also contributed significantly to the victory. Aaliyah Brunny led Parkersburg Catholic with 15 points.
