In a tense, extra-inning battle at the Little Kanawha Conference Tournament championship, Wahama defeated defending champion St. Marys 1-0 in ten innings. Wahama's first hit didn't come until the tenth inning when Zoie Mayes reached on an infield single. Payton Staats then hit a two-out double, allowing Mayes to score from first. Wahama pitcher Elissa Hoffman secured the win with back-to-back strikeouts in the bottom of the tenth, finishing with nine strikeouts and allowing four hits.
