Washington used a dominant second-half run to defeat Parkersburg South 65-58 in the Class AAAA quarterfinals on Thursday, March 19, 2026, punching its ticket to semifinal Friday.

After a tightly contested first half, Washington seized control in the third quarter with an 11-0 run. Chris Dolman led the way with a standout all-around performance, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Josiah King added 16 points, including key buckets in the fourth quarter to hold off Parkersburg South’s late push. Chet Gore chipped in 15 points as Washington built a double-digit lead entering the final frame.

Parkersburg South battled throughout, led by Tahj Joyce with 17 points, while Harry Silvis knocked down a deep three late to cut the deficit to two.

Despite the late surge, Washington responded with clutch plays down the stretch to secure the win and advance.

Washington will now face top-seeded George Washington in the semifinal round in a highly anticipated matchup between two of the top teams in Class AAAA.
