The defending champs are headed back to the title game.

In a rematch of the 2024 championship, Spring Mills delivered a dominant performance to defeat Morgantown 73-57 in the WVSSAC Class Quad A Semifinals on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center.

Spring Mills took control late in the first half behind Akwasi Opoku-Akyampong, who sparked a key scoring run, and Tyler Jones, who knocked down multiple triples as part of an 11 three-pointer performance for the Cardinals.

Kenez Stovall led all scorers with 19 points, while Chase Jones added a strong all-around effort.

Morgantown was paced by Waylen Callister, who finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds, but the Mohegans were unable to overcome Spring Mills’ efficiency as the Cardinals shot 71% from the field.

With the win, Spring Mills advances to the Class Quad A State Championship, where they will face George Washington for the second consecutive year.
