This late run gave Hurricane their only lead of the game. Hurricane (18-3) will now face top-seeded George Washington in the championship game. Hurricane coach Brian Sutphin praised his team's resilience despite an off-hitting night. Wyatt Gautier pitched six strong innings in relief for Hurricane. Cabell Midland (10-13) scored early but couldn't hold the lead. Hurricane's Ocheltree and Baxter had multi-hit games. Hurricane will now look to avenge their regular-season loss to George Washington in the championship.
