A pair of unbeaten Class AAA teams collide in Clarksburg as No. 9 Keyser visits No. 6 Robert C. Byrd for the MetroNews Television Week 3 Game of the Week, sponsored by GoMart.

Robert C. Byrd enters Week 3 at 2-0, its first start of that kind since 2021 under fourth-year head coach Austin Scott. The Flying Eagles are coming off a dramatic 26-21 victory over rival Fairmont Senior, using a double-pass touchdown with 18 seconds remaining to secure the win. Now RCB turns its attention to a Keyser team that defeated the Flying Eagles 42-20 a season ago.

Keyser is also 2-0, marking its first such start since 2022 under seventh-year head coach Derek Stephen. The Golden Tornado opened the season with victories over Berkeley Springs and Lewis County and once again features a physical, run-first attack. Keyser finished 7-4 and earned a Class AAA playoff berth last season, and the Golden Tornado enter Week 3 looking to establish themselves as contenders in the classification.

Two unbeaten teams. Two ranked Class AAA programs. And an opportunity for Robert C. Byrd to avenge last season's loss as Keyser brings its ground attack to Clarksburg.
