East Fairmont turned a tight game into a runaway in a matter of innings.
After leading just 1-0 through three frames, the Bees erupted for 13 runs across the fourth and fifth innings to defeat No. 5 Robert C. Byrd, 14-0 in five innings in Clarksburg.
East Fairmont sent 23 batters to the plate over those two innings, showcasing a relentless offensive approach built on quality at-bats and aggressive swings early in counts.
Owen Music set the tone at the top of the lineup, scoring three runs and collecting two hits, while Case Linn drove in four runs. Jackson Waskis reached base in all four of his plate appearances, and both Brody Bledsoe and Maddex Dotson added multi-hit performances.
On the mound, Waskis delivered a dominant complete-game effort, allowing just three hits while striking out ten to silence a strong RCB lineup.
East Fairmont improves to 12-8 with the win, while Robert C. Byrd falls to 15-5.
