Tucker County has become one of West Virginia's most consistent Class A football programs, and the Mountain Lions aren't planning to slow down in 2026.
After four consecutive playoff appearances and five postseason victories over the last three seasons, head coach AJ Rapp returns a veteran offensive line while looking to replace several All-State playmakers from last year's quarterfinal team.
Athletic standout Lucas Barb moves to quarterback after totaling more than 750 yards from scrimmage in 2025, while senior receiver Cayden Arnold and running back Cade Rapp headline a new-look offense. Up front, Tucker County believes one of its most experienced offensive lines in recent years can help pave the way for another playoff run.
The challenge won't be easy. The Mountain Lions once again face one of the toughest schedules in Class A, including matchups against three of last year's four semifinalists.
Can Tucker County make another deep postseason push in 2026?
