The action begins early and builds toward championship Saturday, where four state champions will be crowned.
The opening game features St. Marys vs Pocahontas County in a Class A 3-vs-6 matchup. St. Marys enters the state tournament riding a 12-game winning streak after knocking off five-time defending regional champion Cameron. The Blue Devils are led by junior star Brinley Bullock, who averages 25.7 points per game. Pocahontas County counters with Allison Taylor, a dominant presence averaging a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds per game.

Tug Valley is paced by Haven Deskins, while Greater Beckley Christian returns to the state tournament for the first time in 15 years, led by 1,000-point scorer Leah Atkins.
