South Harrison melts the clock to finish weather-delayed game with Lincoln

    In a high school football game that spanned four days due to a lightning suspension, South Harrison secured a 20-19 victory over Lincoln. The game, which began on Friday, resumed on Monday with South Harrison leading 14-7 in the third quarter. After play continued, Lincoln scored a touchdown but had the extra point blocked, narrowing the score to 14-13. South Harrison answered with a touchdown pass to extend their lead to 20-13. Lincoln responded quickly with another touchdown but failed a two-point conversion attempt, leaving them a point behind at 20-19. In the final quarter, South Harrison executed a game-sealing 13-play, 45-yard drive, running out the final 8:18 on the clock to preserve their win. The victory improved South Harrison's record to 2-0, while Lincoln fell to 0-2.
