West Virginia's top junior golfers battled for championships at the 2026 WVGA Junior Amateur Championship at Canaan Valley Resort.
Washington High School standout and WVU commit Tommy Evans successfully defended his Junior Amateur title, closing with clutch pars after a pivotal birdie on the challenging 16th hole to secure the victory.
In the girls championship, Capital High School's Lexi Green rallied from three shots back before defeating Ellie West in a playoff to capture her first WVGA Junior Amateur title.
Champions were also crowned in the younger age divisions, with Graydi Floyd winning the Boys 13-14 title, Deacon Delaplain claiming the Boys 12-and-under championship in a playoff, and Valentina Aguilar taking home the Girls 14-and-under title.
