After two state championship appearances and eight playoff victories over the last four seasons, Herbert Hoover enters 2026 with one objective: bringing home the program's next state title.
Junior quarterback Peyton Grigsby returns after throwing for more than 3,200 yards and 36 touchdowns as a sophomore, while standout receivers Kno'Sean Hampton and Lance Williams headline one of the state's most explosive passing attacks. The Huskies also welcome First Team All-State playmaker David Robinson, who transferred from Capital and is committed to Army West Point.
Head coach Joey Fields believes the combination of experienced veterans, talented newcomers and a championship mindset gives Herbert Hoover another opportunity to compete for Class AAA's top prize.
