With the game on the line, Philip Barbour put together a dramatic final drive to capture the Coal Bowl.
Quarterback Robbie Jones connected twice with Landyn Carpenter to move the Colts deep into scoring territory. Carpenter then carried the ball inside the 10 to set up the deciding play.

With Grayson Taylor handling the snap and Jones the hold, Philip Barbour turned to Ayden Thorne for the game-winning field goal.

Thorne delivered.

The kick sailed through the uprights to give Philip Barbour the victory and set off a celebration at George Byrer Field.
