The Wahama White Falcons are gearing up to defend their Class A state championship title this fall, aiming to replicate their undefeated 2024 season, which was highlighted by a high-powered offense averaging 54 points per game. Coach James Toth and his players, including senior lineman Alijah Hicks and junior quarterback Trace Simpkins, vividly recall the joy of their championship win, emphasizing the strong team bond that propelled their success. Looking to the 2025 season, the White Falcons boast an experienced offensive line, a group Coach Toth believes is among the best in Single-A, though they'll need to find a new center. Quarterback Trace Simpkins is expected to further improve after a stellar sophomore season, while the biggest challenge will be replacing the prolific Connor Lambert, arguably the best running back in program history, whose void will be filled by multiple players. As a dominant force in Class A with a 30-game regular-season winning streak, Wahama understands they are now the "hunted," but their championship experience gives them a significant advantage.
