Brad Mossor delivered one of the most dominant and versatile senior seasons in West Virginia high school football history, consistently drawing extra defensive attention yet thriving in every role he was asked to play. Primarily a wide receiver, he was frequently bracketed by opposing defenses, prompting a move to running back that only amplified his impact as he showcased his competitiveness, toughness, and will to win. Mossor finished the season with 93 receptions for 1,512 yards and 14 touchdowns, rushed for 914 yards and 28 scores, and added seven additional touchdowns on defense and special teams. His all-around excellence powered Princeton to a perfect 14-0 season and the program’s first Class AAA state championship, punctuated by a legendary championship game performance in which he scored all five Tigers touchdowns and led a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback. Praised by head coach Nathan Tanner for his leadership, work ethic, and relentless drive, Mossor was named the MetroNews Football Player of the Year by media across the state, edging out Morgantown standout Maddox Twigg in the closest vote since 2019. With college football in his future and a transition to basketball next, Mossor caps his high school career as one of the most impactful players the state has seen.
