Frankfort defeated Herbert Hoover 3-2 in a Class AA elimination game, largely due to Avery Noel's clutch performance. Noel hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to tie the game and later drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh with a bases-loaded single. Riley Mangold pitched a complete game for Frankfort, striking out ten and allowing no earned runs. Herbert Hoover's season ended with a 25-9 record, with Bella Haas scoring their two runs. Frankfort will now play the loser of the Weir/Winfield game in another elimination match.
