In his first significant action for West Virginia, running back Tye Edwards was the pivotal figure in the Mountaineers' 31-24 come-from-behind overtime victory against rival Pitt. His most crucial contribution came in overtime when he scored the game-winning 1-yard touchdown from a "power package" formation that utilized nine offensive linemen.
