Xandria Maurer talks about the heart attack she had that led her to painting. She painted the Heartbeat of the Mountain for a charity event that Phil Vassar, who has suffered his own heart attack, was having to raise money for the Emergency Services at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She talks about how everyone there was so nice and willing to help the organization. She also talked about a new collection she is working on featuring water birds.
