Wheeling Central battled back throughout the game and brought the tying run to the plate in the seventh, but Weber made a leaping grab at first base and turned a game-ending double play to seal the win.
Utt went the distance in the circle for Weir, while Olivia Kiaski settled in after the first inning and tossed a complete game for the Maroon Knights. Maddie Miehle and Berklee Heller each had two hits for Central, while Weber and Lexi Shockley added two hits apiece for the Red Riders.
