Senator Eric Tarr talks about an opposing candidate being pulled off the ballot
9m 15s
Senator Eric Tarr talks about filing a formal complaint with the Secretary of State because when they looked at the address that Zachary Abbott used when he filed to run for Senator in the 4th District the address he used was not correct. According to code a candidate must live at the address given on the paperwork to run for 12 months before the general election. It was found that Abbott had never lived at that address so the judge had the Secretary of State remove Zachary Abbott's name from the ballot. When asked if charges could be filed, Senator Tarr said when you file the paper work to run you are swearing the information is correct. If it is not correct then you are lying to the Secretary of State which is against the law.
