Ripley rolls past Winfield, 10-0 in the Class AAA semifinals

The Ripley Vikings defeated Winfield 10-0 in a run-rule victory to advance to the Class AAA state baseball finals. Ripley's offense was strong from the start, scoring in each of the first three innings and adding two more runs in the fifth. Landon Meadows was a key offensive player, going 4-4 with five RBIs. Pitcher Bryson Casto secured the win for Ripley, throwing five scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and one walk while striking out seven. Ripley, now with a 26-3 record, will play for their first state championship since 2004 on Saturday. Winfield finished their season at 23-8.
