On their Senior Day, the West Virginia women's soccer team secured a dominant 2-0 victory over Oklahoma State, keeping them unbeaten in conference play and preserving their hopes for a Big 12 regular-season championship. The Mountaineers (12-2-3, 7-0-3 Big 12) controlled the match from the start, outshooting the Cowgirls (4-12-2, 0-9-1) 27-1 and earning a 13-2 advantage in corner kicks. Both WVU goals came from corner kicks: Ava Arnold scored in the 5th minute off an assist from Anna Hauer, and Abbey Olexa added the second goal in the 55th minute from a feed by Ajanae Respass. Head coach Nikki Izzo-Brown gave her team an "A-plus" for controlling the tempo but a "C-minus" for finishing on their 27 shots. Goalkeeper Bailey Herfurth earned the shutout win, improving her record to 11-0-3 without having to make a save. The win keeps WVU (24 points) in second place in the Big 12, just behind TCU (25 points), with one regular-season match remaining against Cincinnati.
