Sports
Morgantown High School swept the regular season series against University High School with a 66-39 victory, bringing both teams’ records to 10-4. Although the Mohigans established an early 19-6 lead, University rallied to cut the deficit to a single point midway through the third quarter. Morgantown responded with a decisive 14-2 run, sparked by freshman Madison Ancell, who scored 19 of her game-high 25 points in the second half. Coach John Fowkes credited the team's defensive intensity and the rebounding of Maliyah Young, who added 12 points, for stabilizing the game as the team continues to adjust to playing without injured starter Brenna Nelson.
