Hurricane kept its season alive with a 9-5 victory over Jefferson in the Class AAAA State Softball Tournament in South Charleston.

The Redskins used a strong offensive performance and timely hitting to secure the win and advance in the tournament bracket.

Jefferson battled throughout, but Hurricane made the key plays down the stretch to earn the four-run victory.
