Braxton County’s defense delivered the biggest plays in a 26-8 win over Gilmer County.
Brady Toler scored on the ground, Josh Hoover returned an interception for a touchdown, Toler connected with Jackson Lewis for another score, and Logan Payne sealed the victory with a 56-yard pick-six.

The victory moved the Eagles to 1-1 on the season.
