GRANVILLE, W.Va. — George Washington handed Morgantown its first loss of the season, earning a hard-fought 4-3 victory in the Mon County Mohigan Classic at Kendrick Family Ballpark.

In a tightly contested matchup, GW capitalized on key opportunities and held off Morgantown late to secure the win. Both teams battled throughout, but George Washington’s timely execution proved to be the difference in a one-run game.
