In the game against Logan, Oak Glen scored two runs in the first inning due to a fielding error and added another in the third. Mattie Carney pitched both shutouts, striking out 19 batters across the two games, and was praised for her performance. Oak Glen's defense was also stellar, playing error-free in both contests. The Golden Bears will play the winner of the Logan-Petersburg elimination game in the championship round, with their seniors sacrificing their graduation ceremony to play for the title.
