Tug Valley captured its first girls basketball state championship with a 63–45 victory over Cameron in the Class A final.

Kayla Baisden led the Panthers with a dominant all-around performance, finishing with 25 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds, including two memorable banked-in three-pointers.

Tug Valley took control in the second quarter, outscoring Cameron 20–6 and building a lead they never gave back.

Makayla May added a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Alyssa Newsome also scored 15 points in the championship win.

Cameron was led by Ashlynn Van Tassell, who finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds, but the Dragons could not overcome Tug Valley’s defensive pressure and offensive efficiency.
