Dale Lee and Kristie Skidmore talk about the loss of 8270 students in WV public schools between 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. Some of the loss is due to people leaving the state and some it due to kids being enrolled in the other schools due to the Hope Scholarship. Loss can be cyclical but this is a little more than that.
