Over the years, the Cameron Dragons and the Cee-Bees of Clay Battelle have met 68 times on the football field. And, in those previous 68 meetings, the Dragons have an impressive record of 41 wins – 26 losses and 1 tie! And, even though this long series of games stretches out over several years, the two teams have a very recent history as Clay Battelle traveled to Cameron the first games of this season and lost 22-16. That game was played on August 29th, and since then, the Cee-Bees have not lost another game. In fact, they have not even given up as many as 22 points in a game since! So, certainly one would think the Cee-Bees should be favored considering just how well this team has been playing. But, hold on a second….for it was the Dragons of Cameron that went on the road last Friday night and beat the previously undefeated White Falcons of Wahama 42-16. So, as these two teams meet for the 69th time, at stake is a chance to play for a Class A State Football Championship – something neither team has ever won! It’s must-see TV, as Cameron (8-3) battles Clay Battelle (11-1) in Blacksville!
