Top-seeded Bridgeport was three outs from elimination before delivering late-game magic.
The Indians scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat East Fairmont, 3-2, and advance to the Class AAA state semifinals at Jack Cook Field.
Trailing 2-1 entering their final at-bat, Bridgeport tied the game on an RBI groundout from Jax McNally before Guy Avolio delivered the game-winning sacrifice fly to bring home Luke Rohrig.
East Fairmont held leads twice in the contest, getting RBI production from River McClain and capitalizing on a wild pitch in the sixth inning to move in front.
On the mound, Owen Sondericker was dominant for Bridgeport, tossing a complete game while allowing just two hits and striking out six batters.
The comeback victory sends the Indians into Friday's Class AAA semifinal as they continue their pursuit of a state championship.
