Vincent Aloi pitched 6 2/3 strong innings, retiring 20 batters and hitting a two-run home run, as Morgantown defeated Philip Barbour 7-2 at Kendrick Family Ballpark, extending their winning streak to nine games. After Philip Barbour took an early lead, Morgantown scored seven unanswered runs in the first four innings. Aloi received strong defensive support, including two inning-ending double plays. Morgantown head coach Pat Sherald praised Aloi's pitching and the team's offensive contribution from throughout the lineup. Morgantown now has a 20-8 record with three regular-season games left before sectional play.
