Now, can I tell you who's going to win? No! And if I could, I'd probably be selling ice cream in the Sahara, which is a much easier gig. The winner is a mystery, a beautiful enigma wrapped in a bow of maybe. I mean, you look at past results, and you realize that predicting a Game Award is like predicting where a boomerang is going to land: It'll be surprising, and someone's going to get hit in the head.

Because every gamer, bless their little pixelated hearts, has an opinion. It's a vast ocean of contradictory takes! One person says, "This game is a masterpiece!" The next one says, "My toaster has better graphics!" It’s a wonderful, noisy mess!
