Howdy folks! J & J True Outdoor Adventures was born back in the summer of '11, cooked up right here in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia by a father-son duo, Juddie and Jerod Burgess. We're just two regular fellas, born and raised in these hills, who love nothing more than chasin' game and wettin' a line in our home state.

Now, we ain't no fancy, sponsored-up professionals. We're just your everyday West Virginians who live for the thrill of the hunt and the peace of the woods. Our videos show it all – the good days when we bag a nice buck (at least, nice in our book!), and the days we come home with nothin' but stories and tired feet. We'll even give you our honest take on gear we try out, whether it's top-notch or a dud.

What you'll see here is real West Virginia huntin'. No TV magic, no guaranteed monster bucks behind every tree. Just the honest-to-goodness adventure of bein' out in God's country, breathin' that fresh mountain air and enjoyin' the simple things. Sometimes we get lucky on camera, sometimes we don't – that's just how it goes.

Beyond the hunt itself, we also like to share some of the skills that go hand-in-hand with it, like reloadin' our own rounds and castin' bullets. It's all part of the journey for us.
