As we head into week #5 of the High School Football season, it is interesting to note that nine teams will wrap up exactly 50% of their regular season tonight. As most of you know, teams across the state have eleven weeks to play ten games. For those nine teams that will reach the halfway mark tonight, it simply means they will not be playing a game the week of November 7th and will enjoy a week of rest before the playoffs begin, if indeed they make the field of sixteen in each class.
Coming up tonight, we have some excellent games scheduled to air live on MetroNews TV, including Elkins at Phillip Barbour, Morgantown at Spring Mills, Roane County at Braxton County, Bluefield at Independence, Spring Valley at St. Albans, and Sissonville at Ravenswood. All games will kick at 7:00 pm except for the last two games above, and those two games will begin at 7:30 pm!
Join us for action from across the state on High School GameNight, this Friday from 9:30 PM to Midnight on MetroNews Television!
