Martinsburg continued its dominant run in Class AAA with a 44–16 victory over Spring Valley, capturing another state championship and extending its winning streak to 28 games.

Quarterback Tyson Bagent led the Bulldogs with over 230 passing yards and four total touchdowns, while Dewayne Grantham added two rushing scores. Jarod Bowie contributed with 87 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Spring Valley held a 16–14 halftime lead behind a strong performance from Owen Porter, who rushed for 160 yards, but Martinsburg took control in the second half, limiting the Timberwolves to just seven yards of offense after the break.

The victory secured Martinsburg’s sixth state championship in eight seasons, further cementing one of the most dominant eras in West Virginia high school football history.
