Fairmont Senior's girls basketball team overcame a 14-point deficit in the first quarter to defeat Wyoming East 51-39 and win the Class AA state championship. The Polar Bears, led by freshman Marley Washenitz's 18 points and senior Anysa Jordan's 15 points, outscored the Warriors 48-22 over the final three quarters. Wyoming East struggled offensively, shooting just 23.3% from the field.
