TJ Meadows talks about the new Consumer Price Index (CPI), which just came out, and how it is affecting inflation, the midterms elections and the bond/stock markets. The CPI has two numbers, one includes energy (oil, gas) and is the highest of the two numbers and the other number does not include energy and is lower. Since the CPI has gone up the lower number is starting to move as much as the top number which is showing that the price of oil and gas are starting to be felt in products and services. The main thing on everyone's mind and should be for those running in the midterm election is affordability.
