Mason Mayor Kristopher Clark talks about the loss of 2 great gentleman that everyone in the city knew... Bob Barnitz and Gary Roush. Bob and his wife Corena started Bob’s Market in the 1970's and since then they have grown to have locations in four states. Also every year, they provide hanging baskets to the towns in the bend area and throughout the summer Bob's Market employees water them to help improve the beautification of multiple towns. Gary Roush had owned Riverside Golf Course since 1975. He transformed it from a 9 hole course to a 18 hole course and expanded with a new clubhouse that includes a restaurant, pro shop, and a banquet room. Gary also added a driving range to the course. He provided a gathering place for families, co workers, reunions and so much more.
