Chris Morris, who heads up West Virginia’s Data Economy Office, is really pushing to get more data centers built in our state. He’s been clear that the biggest hurdle right now is just getting enough power to run these facilities. He’s also trying to clear the air on some of the rumors about how they affect the environment, making sure folks know it's a team effort with the local community. His whole office actually kicked off thanks to House Bill 2014, but he’s honest about the fact that we’ve still got some work to do when it comes to finding the right land and beefing up our internet connectivity to really make it happen.
